VW Group of America President (VWGoA) and CEO Pablo Di Si visited the CRC along scientists from the VW Knoxville Hub and VW Chattanooga. VW Knoxville and the Harper group’s joint development of molded natural fiber auto parts were demonstrated.Â
VWGoA has announced that this partnership will be accelerated going forward. Due to the program’s success to date, new joint research is in the works through 2025, with more PhD fellowships and internships, dedicated guest lectures with VW senior experts, and new UT student engagement programs slated for the fall of 2023.
