On April 24, 2023, Materials Science & Engineering Dept students, Jacob Morton and Eli Christoph presented their cumulative reviews. Eli’s work is investigating the synthesis, characterization and application of lignin-derived carbon quantum dots for regenerative medicine. Jacob’s work is investigating the synthesis, characterization and application of cerium oxide nanoparticles for antimicrobial purposes. Both Eli and Jacob are working under the direction of CRC Prof David Harper and CRC joint faculty member/Materials Sci. Prof David Keffer, along with mentors from the College of Veterinary Medicine.
