We congratulate Di Xie who graduated Spring 2024 with her PhD degree in the lab of Assistant Professor Mi Li. Di pursued her PhD in Wood Science and Technology at the CRC beginning her work in 2021. During this time, she refined her research expertise in polymer and materials science and completed Design of Experiments certificate training, among other achievements. Di expressed her thanks to her supportive mentors and others at the CRC, and said that her experiences have equipped her well for her new role as a Research and Development Engineer in industry. She will be working on advancing the boundaries of polymers, materials, and statistics in the semiconductor industry. She also said, “I extend my sincere appreciation to CRC for the resources, education, and training provided. I look forward to potential connections with CRC in the future.” In return, we wish her the best in her new position!
