We had a great time at Ag Day, Saturday September 23rd. Thanks to all the faculty, staff, and students who helped prepare for the event. We enjoyed talking with students, alumni and other visitors about the important Circular Bioeconomy research going on at CRC.
- AgResearch Dean Xin stopped by to say hello.
- Prof. Labbe explains how plants can be made into products that can be composted and used to grow new biomass crops in a circular economy.
- We explained how plants take up chemicals from the soil similar to the way these flowers absorb the color in the water.
- Kids enjoyed the oak bubble straws.
